Get to know the Ilisei family – three brothers dedicated to excellence in flooring
NICK ILISEI
Nick Ilisei is the President and co-founder of Premier Tile Design Inc., with over 20 years of experience in the flooring industry. He began his journey in the trade at a young age, working as a helper on small residential projects and quickly advancing to installer and project lead.
At just 19, Nick launched Premier Tile and Marble alongside his older brother, Dimi Ilisei (CTI #2006, Artistic Tile and Stone), marking the start of their expansion into commercial flooring. Throughout the 2010s, Nick led projects for major national brands including Pilot Travel Centers, Life Time Fitness, Walmart, Marriott, and IHG, working as both a prime and tiered subcontractor across the U.S.
Under Nick's leadership, Premier Tile Design has grown into one of the Detroit Metro Area's premier flooring companies, recognized for its craftsmanship, reliability, and commitment to quality in both commercial and residential markets.
EUGEN ILISEI
Eugen Ilisei brings over 10 years of industry experience to his role as Project Manager at Premier Tile Design Inc. As the youngest of the Ilisei brothers, Eugen was introduced to the flooring trade early on, spending summers and school breaks learning the craft alongside his family.
In 2018, Eugen began estimating projects for the company while continuing to manage field crews, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both operations and planning. Since moving into a full-time office role in 2021, he has managed a wide range of commercial projects—from small-scale renovations to large contracts exceeding $1.5 million.
Eugen's attention to detail, field experience, and commitment to client satisfaction make him an integral part of Premier Tile Design's continued success.
ALEXANDRU ILISEI
Alexandru Ilisei is a Project Manager at Premier Tile Design Inc., continuing the family tradition in the flooring industry. Like his brothers, Alex began working on tile projects at a young age, gaining hands-on experience during school breaks and weekends.
After spending over a decade in the field honing his technical skills, Alex transitioned into the office in 2023 and quickly rose to the role of Project Manager. He now leads Premier Tile Design's efforts in the education sector, overseeing projects for schools, universities, and institutional clients.
With a Certified Tile Installer (CTI #2000) designation and a deep understanding of both field and administrative operations, Alex brings precision, reliability, and a strong work ethic to every project he manages.
